first list about mom
I tried to remember what my mother liked. I wanted to think of something positive about her. But all I could remember were the things she didn't like. She did not like:
love stories
purple
fish
perfume
birds
my father
my father's wife
shopping
being sober
cleaning
exercise
flying
elevators
most men
Okay, now I feel like I have to come up with a few things she did like. Here goes:
horror movies
sugar
cigarettes
coffee
sleeping with the television on
Judge Judy
baking
my sister and I as children
writing about stuff
red meat
weed
prescription drugs
cats
her granddaughter
How about that? I managed to come up with 14 of each.

She also refused any red meat substitutes, no soy products and certainly no ground turkey where ground beef ought to be.
It's funny b/c it would be 100 times easier for me to come up w/things that my mom didn't like as opposed to liked!
